Srushti deshmukh who is in her third year of engineering is already beginning preparation for UPSC. When she finished her senior year of engineering, Deshmukh was unsure if she could enjoy working in engineering. The answer became more clear when she shifted her focus to the civil work. Her parents encouraged her to go into civil services and have an employment in the public sector. Her motivation was to be an IAS officer and was focused towards that aim. To be able to pass UPSC to be successful it is more work necessary. She also prepared for UPSC exams while taking engineering classes. Exam preparation consumed all day long. The time she spent was just one month preparing for the test and kept completely off of the internet and social daily life. Her belief is that staying focused on the task at hand is the key to passing the exam. She worked hard to achieve her aim to pass the test on her the first attempt. Every day, she was reading the paper to stay updated with the current news. Rajya Sabha TV and online studying materials also proved to be a huge help for her.
